Internet Generation recommends and use Linux Hosting. Linux servers are much more secure than Microsoft Windows based servers since most viruses are designed to attack Microsoft systems. Linux also requires almost no rebooting of the server and Some Linux servers has been known to run for years without a need to reboot.
Internet Generation uses Debian based on the Linux Kernel.
