Internet Generation offers a fax2mail service where you are supplied with a fax number in the format 086 67x xxxx. All faxes send to this number is forwarded to the email account you choose to link to this fax number. You can therefore receive a fax anywhere in the world at anytime even if you are not connected to the internet at that stage. As soon as you connect to your email, you will be able to view your fax.
The fax2mail service also saves you costs as you do not have to print the fax as it is received, saving you cost on paper as well as toner or ink in the event of you using a plain paper fax machine. Faxes can also be stored electronically saving further space as not filing cabinets and files are needed.
Mail2fax is also available on request and you will receive an account at the end of your monthly billing cycle for all faxes sent.
Requirements
Internet Generation email address or email address from any domain hosted by Internet Generation
A fax must be received to your fax2mail number at least once every 90 days
Fax2mail - Also Fax-to-mail and is the allocation of a 086 fax number linked to your email address for receiving faxes as email to your mailbox.
Mail2fax - Also Mail-to-fax is the process of sending faxes by means of email. An email message is sent to service provider who converts the email into fax format and delivering it to the supplied fax number
