Outlook 2007 & 2010

Why use our SMS system?
Researchers found that around 98% of SMS messages are read once they are received, so marketing through this relatively new channel is highly effective. Customers consider their mobile phones to be a much more personal medium than direct mail or even e-mail. The unique, simple nature of a SMS message allows you to concisely target your customers, personally, with uncluttered, clear messages that stand out. Your messaging campaigns can be streamlined to target specific groups, according to demographics such as age, race, level of income or education, etc. SMS messages are automatically stored to be referred to or used later. Your messages can instantly be sent within seconds at any time, to anywhere on the planet!
Prices
Internet Generation now offer a SMS or Text Message system for 35c per credit. Local SMS messages will cost you one credit = 35c per 160 characters which is a standard SMS length and you can send a SMS of up to a length of 440 characters which will be billed at a maximum of 3 credits.
Internet Generation provides an online SMS system to all our online clients. If you have an email account linked to any of the Internet Generation services, you will be able to access and use our online SMS service. This even includes domain owners with their own email addresses, i.e. info@yourdomain.co.za, as long as the domain is hosted by Internet Generation. You can send SMS messages from the comfort of your computer to any local cellular service provider as well as international providers.
Packages
Post-paid
The post-paid SMS service means that you will be billed at the end of each billing cycle for the SMS messages you sent and this you will then pay along with your payment for your other Internet Generation service(s). If you have a debit order with us, your SMS account will be added to your current debit order. SMS messages that is not delivered due to the receiving cell phone or network errors will also be billed for due to this being beyond our scope of control. All replies to SMS messages you sent will also be delivered to your email address. If you are not a current Internet Generation client - check out our PrePaid SMS service
Prepaid
With the prepaid SMS service you will have to contact our office on 041 365 5411 or email us at sales@igen.co.za. We will setup a pre-paid account with us, you can then purchase credits by means of EFT transfer, direct deposit or directly at our offices. To use our prepaid service you must download Message Companion and install it on your PC. You will login with the username and password that we will supply to you. You can also use your prepaid service to send SMS messages directly from Microsoft Outlook 2007 or 2010. Internet Generation can setup your pre-paid SMS account to forward any replies sent back to you, to an email address of your choosing or your mobile phone. Credits will be deducted from your account for replies forwarded to your mobile phone. Anyone can join our prepaid system, it does not matter if you are a Internet Generation client or not
With both the Pre- and Post-paid SMS services you can create groups and add all your contacts to these groups. Use our SMS system to stay in contact with your clients.

GSM - acronym for Global System for Mobile Communications and is the most popular global standard for communication between mobile phones.
SMS - Acronym for Short Message Service and is a component of the mobile GSM network allowing for transmission of short text messages between mobile phones.
